1. Write down all the ethnic groups living in America you know.
While-listening task
2. What is said about illegal immigration? Write down as much as you can.
Post-listening task
3. There is said something about cultural changes. What could these changes look like and which changes are welcome and which are not?
4. Know describe your imagination of multicultural America. What does it look like?

Thanks for your tasks. They are ok though a bit vague and not too detailed. Your students might also need some further support for working with the listening text. Maybe you would like to add more pre-tasks focusing stronger on immigration, facts, opinions about it for example. As well it might be helpful to provide a while-listening sheet which gives facts students just have to tick as right or wrong.
In general the text is a bit long, maybe you would want to shorten it for using it with your students.
